Our Difficulty Ratings
WHAT DO THEY MEAN?
Level 1
EASY
Designed for those new to adventure travel. Gentle walks, short hikes, and light activity on mostly even terrain. Perfect for anyone with a basic fitness level looking to explore the outdoors without intense physical demands.
Level 4
DEMANDING
For fit, experienced adventurers. Consecutive long days in demanding environments altitude, heat, cold, or wilderness terrain. A solid fitness base and previous multi-day trip experience recommended.
Level 2
MODERATE
Ideal for travellers with a good general fitness level. Expect moderate days (4–6 hours) of trekking, paddling, or off-road travel with some uneven ground or altitude gain. A sense of adventure is all you need.
Level 5
EXTREME
Our most demanding expeditions. Physically and mentally tough, involving challenging terrain, exposure, or technical sections. Designed for those with strong endurance and a taste for true expedition-grade adventure.
Level 3
CHALLENGING
A step up in challenge and reward. Full days (6–8 hours) on the move, mixed terrain, and remote conditions. You’ll need good endurance and experience with hiking or outdoor activities, but no technical skills.
