WORLDWIDE ADVENTURES
Our Story
Wild Axis Expeditions was founded by James and Shannon — two adventure-driven explorers with a shared passion for remote and wild travel experiences.
James is an Armed Forces veteran with over 20 years of experience operating in some of the world’s most remote, challenging, and unpredictable environments — from high mountain ranges to far flung oceans. His background brings a calm, methodical, safety-focused approach to expedition planning, with real-world expertise in navigation, field operations, and remote readiness developed through years spent working at the sharp end.
Shannon is an experienced diver and operational frontline medic, with extensive time spent working in high-pressure and demanding environments. Her medical knowledge, preparation skills, and focus on resilience and wellbeing ensure every journey is supported by a high standard of duty of care.
Together, they created Wild Axis Expeditions to offer small-group adventures that are authentic, challenging, and grounded in respect for the landscapes and cultures they explore.
