ABOUT THIS TRIP
This isn’t the typical express Toubkal climb. Our trip is designed by expedition leaders with real mountaineering and field experience, this itinerary prioritises proper acclimatisation, safety, and summit success — following the proven climb high, sleep low principle used on high-altitude expeditions worldwide.
While most operators rush straight from Marrakech to the refuge, we deliberately build in extra elevation gain and rest to allow your body to adapt. Day one is spent trekking to Tizi M’zzik Pass (2480 m) — your first acclimatisation hike — before returning to Imlil for the night. This vital adjustment boosts your summit performance and comfort at altitude, helping you reach the top feeling strong and confident.
From there, you’ll ascend steadily through Berber valleys, past the sacred site of Sidi Chamharouch, and on to the Toubkal Refuge (3200 m). Here, our team provides essential winter mountaineering preparation — from using crampons and ice axes…
